The Epic Hotel & Residences complex enjoys a fantastic position overlooking the ocean in the bay just outside Miami.
Inspiration for the architectural design was borrowed by Luis Revuelta directly from seafront homes in the south of Florida, drawing on sailing and historic themes linked to native Americans. Revuelta has managed to convey the essence of life on the waterfront Florida-style. By day the building looks like a sailing boat on a river, while at night it lights up in memory of the small fires set by the Tequesta Indian tribe, the original inhabitants of Miami. The 54-storey tower houses 342 apartments of various shapes and sizes and a 414-room hotel. I nterior design is by the Florentine Michele Bonan, who has created a refined, sophisticated, luxurious mood, using fine materials and design objects made in Italy.
